I neglected to mention how earlier this week that Phoebe, Nicci and I went to see "Recap Rock" band Previously On Lost at Spaceland. If you are unfamiliar with the band, they are a group of nerds from Brooklyn who write songs that recap Lost episodes. The concept seemed intriguing. Unfortunately, the few song samples I heard on MySpace left much to be desired. The band's set was quite entertaining. They passed out leis, they had two band members dressed in Dharma Initiative jumpsuits, there was a giant cut-out of J.J. Abrams' head, and even a few inflatable [...]

Podcast Jack would say, "They are watching you!" All these Top Tens are making my head hurt! How about this week we cease with the love-fest and instead discuss things that are generally agreed upon as sucking (for a change). I never get to whine and mope and rant. Can't I have my way, just this once? Enough of the Top 10. Let's examine the Bottom 10. No "gas prices", no "Pitchfork Media", and certainly no "Radiohead". This is the real bottom 10. All those other things are just...well, they're blogging fodder for days when [...]

Ah, Saturday. Most of you are resting, but I will be working. I'm not very used to the whole employment thing (it's been five months since my last freelance job, and almost twelve since my last full-time job), so I hope you will continue to bear with me during this transitional phase. For example: yesterday's top ten was a total cop out. I worked a seven hour shift and then met a friend for a drink and a hamburger on the west side, and by the time I got home I was practically unconscious. Today I am working another long [...]
A: We're toooootally not wasting our time listening to this. I have absolutely nothing to talk about today. I should have spent yesterday recanting the night before (Obscure References), and used today to talk about my trip to Allentown. Then I could have dissected my general conversation habits and debated why I prefer to talk to people 'on the move' as opposed to while seated. I'm a poor sit-down talker. When I can observe things in an ever-changing environment, and crack jokes, conversation is lively and smooth. Long, awkward pauses [...]
