Well, he's just thrown his entire career down the drain (whatever-the-hell else it included) because he went on record as saying that Yetis are real. The fucking moron thinks the Yeti actually exists. His proof? "Very convincing footprints have been found at 19,000ft. No one does that for a joke." Uh...I think he's senile. Now I can't take anything he says [...]

Even I couldn't stand sitting inside today watching the "Twilight Zone" marathon from sunrise today until sunrise tomorrow. So when Nicci asked if we could go outside for a fun afternoon away from the television, I could not find an excuse to stay indoors. We started driving up the 101-North, going nowhere in particular, until Nicci realized we were approaching Castle Park. Ah yes, a quick game of miniature golf would certainly raise my spirits! It was sunny and moderately warm today, and a quick spin around the three zany courses at Castle Park seemed like a great idea. That [...]

I was actually reading Pitchfork the other day (I know... I know ), and I came across an interesting news item about Weezer. First, apparently they're trying their hand at another self-titled album (although, Led Zeppelin they are not), but they've also just released a "digital single" (God I hate these uber-modern trends), and have added two bonus tracks for their UK release. The tracks? A cover of The Band's "The Weight" and a cover of Talk Talk's "Life Is What You Make Of It". Granted, the Talk Talk tune was from The Colour Of Spring , which I [...]
Today is my last day in New Jersey, again. Who knows how long it will be before I return. It took almost exactly one year -- from April 27th, 2007 to April 30th, 2008 -- to warrant a first visit. Supposedly (if you believe what I've promised my parents and friends) it will not take another year for me to find my way home. We'll just have to wait and see. I'm taking today "off" in order to relax and prepare myself for the return voyage. I awoke early this morning and drove to Denville to pick up [...]

Since I neglected to write of my weekly world news entries on Saturday, here is a belated update. If you're not interested in my reactions to headlines from around the globe, you can skip this entry and move on to the next one. Or, might I suggest making a donation to this website (see that "DONATE" button at the top-left corner of the page?) with the time you would have spent reading my drivel? Your taxes are due at midnight, and if you haven't finished your return yet, maybe you can somehow write-off your donation! Or, if you feel like [...]

I awoke slowly this morning, but upon noticing that it was roughly ten o'clock, suddenly sprung forth from bed. It was approaching 1:00pm on the east coast, and the first pitches of Opening Day were about to occur. I raced downstairs in the hopes that no one was awake and watching the television, and thankfully found an empty living room. I plopped down on the couch and tuned into ESPN. They were talking about a rain delay in New York. A short while later they shipped their viewers to the already in-progress Royals/Tigers game, which I watched for several innings. [...]
