Best of Alternativ Julekalender, so far… Tweet Today is the start of an amazing yearly event in Norway called Alternativ Julekalender (which means "Alternative advent calendar"). It's a project which collects new christmas songs from lots of Norwegian alternative bands, and gives away one song every day in December via their website , their facebookpage and their mailinglist. [MP3's] The Moog, Snowglobe, Dipsomaniacs, Elba Image From Here The Moog are a Budapest, Hungary quintet. Their follow up to the excellent '07 debut Sold For Tomorrow was recorded in Seattle and is titled Razzmatazz Orfeum . They are a hard playing band and put out a sound that is part Ramones, part Dinosaur Jr., with the fuzziness of Jesus & Mary Chain. A nice mix for sure.
