The Disco Biscuits bring 2011 to a close this week with a five-show New Year's Run that includes three performances at the Best Buy Theater in NYC (tonight, tomorrow and Wednesday) as well as a pair of concerts at Chicago's Auditorium Theatre (December 30 and 31). While the band is coming off a high-profile slot on the Identity Festival, the traveling electronic music tour finished at the beginning of September so it's been nearly four months since the group has played a gig. tDB fans are chomping at the bit to get their band back and hopefully the members [...]

It's kind of odd that I haven't uttered the words Dr. Dog around these parts in quite a while. Well, that's all about to change as the psych-pop-rock act recently announced that on February 7 they will be releasing their latest studio album - Be The Void . Along with that great news, the Philadelphia-based band has also revealed their first round of 2012 tour dates. The 31-date, two-month long run kicks off on February 1 at the Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio and includes a high profile stop at New York's Terminal [...]

Two years ago, the Disco Biscuits were smack dab in the middle of their busiest year of touring in a decade and seemed to be gaining fans at an impressive rate. 2010 and 2011 have been much slower years for the group leaving tDB fans hoping that 2012 would mark a return to extensive tours. More than a year and a half ago, Ski Beatz revealed that he and the Disco Biscuits were working on a collaboration mixtape with a promising lead single, " You And I ." Today I'm real excited to bring you two new tracks from Conspirator. For those who don't know, Conspirator is a live electro house act based out of Philadelphia which actually features members of The Disco Biscuits.
