Schlachthofbronx just released their double A side single "Slowine/Dickie Riddim" which gives you a hint of the great things to come - like their upcoming "Dirty Dancing" album, which will drop end of March. To celebrate the single and maybe to provide us all with an early Valentine's Day gift, we get the slower but cumbia and distorted technolaced "Slowine" as a free download.

Banda UO (Davi, Mateus and Candy Mel) from the city of Goiania in the Midwest in Brazil have adopted an Amazonian style of music originally from the city of Belem called tecno brega — which loosely translates as "cheesy techno". In 2011 the group won the Brazilian MTV Web Video of the Year award for their heavy-metal brega sample of Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" entitled "Shake de Amor" and are currently under supervision by fellow Brazilians in Bonde do Role who are grooming them for world domination. One of our favorite producers at the moment - Nicolas Jaar - with an exclusive minimix for Italian radio show Babylon (on RAI Radio 2 , on the same show we in Discobelle choose our favorite track every week) which sees him not doing a house/techno party mix but clocking in at around 15 minutes we instead get everything from a classical piano piece to Leonard Cohen in a soothing sunday listening mix. Bondax is George Townsend and Adam Kaye, two fresh out of school guys from Lancaster, UK making ethereal downtempo beats. Their latest release is "All Inside," a track that transports you to an other worldly tropical oasis with rare birds and cascading waterfalls. A smooth bass beat and vocal loops gives the track a sophisticated finish that's perfect for a day of lounging. An EP is in the works for these guys and I for one cannot wait.

Glimmering electropop trio Caotico have been compared to MGMT and Cut Copy even though they say they're in fact more influenced by Lil Wayne and Madonna. The outfit was probably one of hottest debut acts here in Sweden during 2011 with a range of remixes and festival gigs, with the release of their debut album in 2012 (will be drop February 22nd on Baseline ) they'll most likely be heard everwyhere. Here's a first taste in the form of a Discobelle premier, new single "Into The Beat" that has radio hit written all over it.
