Well after it's all said and done Electric Zoo weekend was so full of music that I've found it nearly impossible to create a top 3, let alone a top 5… so many artists were great for very different reasons. Regardless of how they put together their sets, they made for an incredible weekend of music, music, music. I will say the one thing about Electric Zoo is, with the size limitation of Randall's Island Park, they are taking away a festival aspect to the event. There should be more things for people to do, it seems that everything other [...]

James are one of my absolute favorite bands and this seems really, really cool to me. There are a lot of neat additions including a USB with all the material (for those of you who are lazy like myself) and a scrapbook full of rare and unreleased photos, memorabilia, press cuttings, and many other items straight out of the band's personal archives, as well as a James timeline they have annotated. The first 500 orders will receive a note card signed by the entire band. This all begins on 16th August at [...]

It seems this album has been on the cards for a long time, and now finally we have a firm release date and lots of lovely details. Marcus' album, " Nameless Path " will be released by Communion/Poldor records on the 26th of September . Do you create the art ahead of time and then use it for the albums, or is it the other way around? I don't really have a process for the Grouplove [...]
