Off the Beaten Track with Mary Leary: Diskjokke, Sonogram, Fredrik, Chateau Marmont I recently saw a review of Sagara on a website called CokeMachineGlow. Conrad Amenta, who's very savvy re: electronica, feels that Joachim Dyrdahl 's latest effort is less than innovative at merging gamelan influences with electronica and dance. I'm paraphrasing, but that seems to be the gist. All I have for comparison with Sagara is Dyrdahl's last effort, En Fin Tid . Dyrdahl is such a proficient knob-turner and mixer, he's able to project any desired mood. EFT [...]
