Therefore, this weeks Temper Chicago show has been downgraded from "epic" to "still pretty epic" with Kingdom, DJ Deeon, Charlie Glitch and Sigma. Nightslugs is definitely my fav label of the year, and they've been hiding away some gems from this amazing UK producer for quite some time but now theyre finally finding theyre way out, especially thanks to his latest release on the label, entitled magic drops, and boy does the title track deliver just that, this guy has such clarity in his production technique, he has a dynamic range from spectral disco beats to hardcore subby 2step funky jams. "Kicked Beneath Too" is an original track and it's just as amazing as his remix work, a straight up banger that we can't wait to hear blasted on the Night Slugs show over on Rinse FM. Brooklyn producer Brenmar does a smashing rendition of the classic ghetto house track "Freak Like Me", originally made by Chicago legend DJ Deeon .
