Essex four-piece Hounds have just unveiled the first track from their upcoming EP The Wicked which drops on June 4th. "The Wicked Witch" is a bit reminiscent of older Does It Offend You Yeah? with its frantic dance-punk sound, thus I am not even a little surprised to hear that the band has been receiving praise from not just DIOYY but the likes of The Prodigy as well. In fact, The Prodigy are into Hounds' music and live show so much that they were hand picked by them to perform at this years Download Festival [...]

DIOYY decide to focus on other projects.

A banda de eletro-rock britânica Does It Offend You, Yeah? Confira abaixo a nota completa: Olá, pessoal. Gostaríamos de anunciar que o DIOYY está agora em hiato por [...]

British electo-rock quintet Does It Offend You, Yeah? took to their Facebook page on April 12th to say they were "working on something exciting!" Thirteen days later, they posted a message stating they are "now on hiatus for the foreseeable future." My, how two weeks can change things. "After five years touring the world, playing alongside some of our favourite bands and visiting some awesome countries we've decided to concentrate on other projects [sic] ," the band posted. They elaborated, saying members James Rushent and Dan Coop "are working on a new EP [...]

A lot of people said 2011 was a terrible year. Myself included. And sure, in some ways it was, and in some ways it wasn't, and 2011 is as subject to perspective and the theory of relativity as any other year. But it seemed tough for a lot of people. Europe began sinking into critical debt, natural disasters seemed particularly rife with 2011 kicking off in Australia with devastating floods in Queensland... And of course as the people of multiple countries stood up to their dickhead dictators and said 'enough', they were (among other things) used as human shields. It [...]
New Music | Camo & Krooked Fine. I give in. This above pair of cheeky Austrians, Camo & Krooked, are a guilty pleasure and, even though a lot of their tunes sound like a slightly angrier version of Does It Offend You, Yeah?'s Epic Last Song, I still like it. So there. And Hospital Records are rarely wrong anyway so I feel somewhat backed up in this (possibly completely wrong) opinion.

It's too hard to pick the best songs of a year, so instead we've put together a little End of Year Mixtape recapping some of our favorite tracks of 2011 , along with a little filler to help make this collection something you can knock at your New Year's Eve party or back at the crib warming up on New Year's Day. No doubt 2011 had plenty of good tunes in all genres. Here's some choice nuggets from New Jawn . "Original Don" by Major Lazer feat. The Partysquad [...]

I'm a sucker for a good horror movie (an even bigger sucker for a horrible horror movie), a few friends, and doing scary things like wander up to a cemetery at midnight ( esp. Stepp Cemetary) or exploring an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere. Indy even has an abandoned asylum and an abandoned [...]

![[Listen] Does It Offend You, Yeah? Perform "Epic Last Song" For The First Time Live, Announce Possible Breakup!?](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3606561_lg.jpg)
Electronic/Indie rockers Does It Offend You, Yeah? surprised Austrailian fans at this year's Splendour In The Grass festival with a performance of a song they've never played live before, the band's 2008 single from their debut album You Have No Idea What You're Getting Yourself Into, "Epic Last Song." Ironically, prior to playing the song lead singer James Rushent announced he was dedicated the track to Australian fans, stating that they don't know if they'll ever be back and announced a possible break up stating "we don't know whether we'll be a band in six [...]

Big news from Down Under, today the English rockers Does It Offend You Yeah ? performed, "Epic Last Song" at Australia's Splendour In The Grass this weekend, and on their last note to their Aussie fans, announced on staget they have never performed that song live and never will again, further suggesting an imminent breakup in 6 months. Listen to the broadcast live from Woodford, Australia below. Does It Offend You Yeah - Epic Last Song (Live Australia) by fromgotowhoa.com

The countdown has begun. For Australians, Splendour in the Grass is almost here. Splendour is an annual Australian music festival held in July at Woodford, Queensland (previously held at Belongil Fields, outside Byron Bay). The festival began in 2001 as a one-day event, but nowadays spans a full three days. With a current capacity of 30K, Splendour is generally considered to be Australia's largest winter (yes, it's winter here) music festival, and attracts a large number of visitors from interstate and overseas. The diverse lineup this year includes a number of huge international acts, including [...]

Does It Offend You, Yeah? released the second music video off this year's Don't Say We Didn't Warn You . It's funny how the band chose a track that sounds almost like nothing else on their album as one of the singles. "Pull Out My Insides" is a great song, don't get me wrong. However, the new album is almost all thumping basslines with heavy synthesizers. You can hear twinges of that in this track, but nowhere near the same sound as this or that or really even any of the songs off the new [...]
