There's something unnerving about turning up to day two of any festival showered, with clean pants on and without the obligatory dried coating of mud. Evolution Festival , held between Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead, has, appropriately enough, evolved considerably since it was first held as a free, 1-day event in 2005. Now in its eighth year, the event boasts a 2-day, two-stage line-up, held in the stunning location of the Newcastle and Gateshead quaysides.
