Lohio comes from the same mindset as Freelance Whales, excessive use of xylophone, multi instrumental and male/female vocal harmonizing. The one thing that Lohio adds in though are orchestrations from provided by hand picked musicians from the Pittsburgh music scene. The band's second EP was released late summer of last year and they jumped at the opportunity to work with acclaimed director Thom Glunt for the standout track "Adelai" video. Local indiepop favorites Donora have chosen the infectious "I Think I Like You" for their latest video, which was actually not filmed outside a Stringcheese show . Nonetheless, this chic's got moves. p.s. When writing about a band, are they plural as in, "Donora release new video," or is it singular, as in the title I went with? Style call, I guess. Not so sure I made the right one.
For cheering up any potential "case of the Mondays," Popwreckoning presents a new music video by Pittsburgh's Donora for their single "I Think I Like You." The video stars Lauren Bergstein pulling some fancy hula hooping moves to the happiest twinkling pop song I think I've ever heard.
