Shout out to Kevin Beacham who received plenty of airtime in the feature, too. Doomtree are one of the strongest presences in an incredibly talented and diverse local hip-hop community and deserve all the mainstream media attention that they've earned lately.

Good news Doomtree fans, the collective are heading to Europe. The seven piece Minnesotan Hip-Hop collective Doomtree have been around for ten years and this will be the first time they’ve toured Europe. For the most it will be as main support for American rapper Yelawolf, though they've confirmed a couple of headline shows too. Hip hop collective Doomtree have announced a trip to Europe this summer for the first time. The band is headed out in support of their recent album, No Kings. It features Doomtree members P.O.S. , Dessa , Sims , Cecil Otter, Lazerbeak, Mike Mictlan, and Paper Tiger.
Seattle's annual Capitol Hill Block Party takes place July 20-22nd in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Highlighting the initial lineup are Neko Case, Major Lazer, Diplo, Aesop Rock with Rob Sonic and DJ Big Wiz, Cloud Nothings, Grimes, Youth Lagoon, Porcelain Raft, Thee Oh Sees, Twin Shadow, Fitz and the Tantrums, Doomtree, Absolute Monarchs, Crystal Stilts, Father John Misty, Trust, Light Asylum, Phantogram, and Spoek Mathambo. Long-running hip-hop collective Doomtree began as a bunch of high-school friends in Minneapolois ten years ago and has since grown into one of the biggest groups on the scene. Last month they hit Austin for SXSW, and SPIN went on a night out with the gang. It’s been seven years since the inaugural Paid Dues Independent Hip Hop Festival took place in Los Angeles. The annual music festival has since gained a solid reputation for its celebration of the diversity in the underground rap universe.
