Dorsh links up with producer RJF to craft a thoughtful examination of race and beauty. On February 13, Dorsh Deans stumbled across an NPR Fresh Air interview with Oscar nominated actress Viola Davis. She discussed the traditional roles of dark-skinned women in Hollywood films and made an incredible point about how ‘media inspires the mulatto from within’. Dorsh completely agreed with her position and wrote a song which features poetry from the legendary Gil Scott-Heron and production from RJF. Rad Summer's newest signee Dorsh just dropped his second single "The Mulatto" off of his upcoming album Neapolitan. Dorsh was inspired to create the track after hearing a NPR piece on skin tone and beauty.
