This is certainly a big week with some incredibly exciting new releases. Sharon Van Etten drops an introspective follow-up to 2010's Epic and A Place To Bury Strangers puts out a small shoegaze-y EP before heading out on tour. As we mentioned in our review , the band played eight tracks off its new album, Be The Void ; the recording of that performance was made available over at NPR Music later that afternoon. The third annual Hangout Music Festival runs May 18-20th on Alabama's Gulf Shores. My first experience seeing Dr. Dog was a handful of years back, covering the Wakarusa festival in Lawrence.
