Today we discovered that Los Angeles' indie pop sensation Dum Dum Girls are partially based in NYC, since front lady Dee Dee currently calls The Big Apple home, while the rest of the band is still based in California. Waaaaaay back in 2011 I posted a track from Dum Dum Girls that I was in love with. Now we have Frankie Rose , formerly of DDG, releasing a new record, Interstellar , in just a few weeks. The first reviews are very positive, and judging from the initial single this one has great potential.
