Flatfoot , out of East Lansing, is a band in the vein of Uncle Tupelo and Sun Volt; going back further of bands like Dumptruck and The Embarrassment. They mix roots music with a kind of punk rock feel. Their new record is called Blue Water . These guys, playing this kind of music, in this day and age are clearly underdogs.
