Dwarves have four midwest shows lined up in the next week, including a New Year's Eve date in Chicago with Naked Raygun . Check out the dates below.

The Dwarves frontman Blag Dahlia has released the details for his upcoming solo EP, Metrosexual Man . The 4-song EP was produced by Eric Valentine and Kevin Cole of The Turbo A.C.s . The EP will be in stores early 2013 but can be purchased right now from the Riot Style web store .

The Owl Mag teams up with Lit Crawl for an hour of raucous readings from five talented musicians/writers this Saturday, including Blag Dahlia of The Dwarves.

Montreal, Canada's Pouzza Fest has relaunched their website for the 2012 edition of the festival, which will take place May 18th - 20th, 2012. In addition, they unveiled a few of the bands that will be playing including Hot Water Music , The Dwarves , Classics of Love , Kepi Ghoulie , Joe McMahon , and more. The organizers have also announced a sale for discounted passes, lasting until Christmas. You can see the full list of announced bands here .

Asian Man Records has announced they will be releasing a pair of split 7"s from Ottawa's The Riptides . The first, Stillborn in the USA , is a split with garage punks The Dwarves , and the second, Buy It You Scum , is a split with The Queers . Both will be limited to 500 copies. There's no specific release date currently, but they are tentatively set for a December release.

Riot Style Records announced a cool release today- a glow-in-the-dark 73 from The Dwarves ! The two track single contains the songs "We Only Came To Get High" from their recent album The Dwarves Are Born Again on the a-side and "I'm Not Dead" on the b-side.
