Although Seattle's Dyme Def hasn't released new music since last December's full length release of Yuk The World, group members Fearce & BeanOne have been steadily dropping new material, which include their mixtape There Goes The Neighborhood, in addition to several leaks, as well as a hail of videos for their songs "Let It Be," "I Want It All," and "Bully," the latter of which shed's light on the international epidemic. For the duo's latest leak "That Aint Hip Hop???," Fearce challenges your right to judge what is or is not Hip-Hop over BeanOne's moving guitar loops and boom-bap percussion. [...]

They've got three (count 'em, three) unique and engaging MCs in S.E.V., Fearce Villan, and Brainstorm, and a library of singularly creative beats from Bean One. It's been a while since I've posted up anything from the pride of Seattle, Dyme Def (a good couple of years in fact). So let's right that wrong right now. The music festival will be going into its 11th year Memorial Day Weekend (5/25-5/28) at The Gorge in George, WA featuring headliners Jack White, Beck, and Bon Iver along with the Shins, Girl Talk, Portlandia Live, Feist, St. Vincent, the Walkmen, Spiritualized, Shabazz Palaces, and dozens more.
