Earlimart put out one of my favorite albums two years ago. They're back and they've done a bang-up job of honing their tight, fuzzed out brand of rock. I read a review recently that referred to these guys as a product of the "Silverlake scene", a reference to the Los Angeles neighborhood in which the band resides and to the other indie rock bands (like Silversun Pickups) with whom they share a zip code.
