NYC quartet the Dig makes brooding guitar rock with '90s teeth and a Naughties bite. With the Gorillaz album around the corner I thought I'd republish this Editors post that we did way back in March when we were only little. The Control Group Sadness is Sarah Assbring's stock in trade, a point I've rather drilled home in my reviews of her output as El Perro Del Mar - the 2007 self-title and 2008's From The Valley To The Stars .
