Been on an absolute record buying frenzy of late. One of the things I picked up was a lovely 10" from the ever-reliable Angular Recordings by Southend group E.Gold . Featuring Plus Ultra's Alexis on vocals, it's a haunting slice of tender synth pop with a coldwave influence reminiscent of Dot Allison, Ruth or Carol & Snowy Red. Included here is the Ghosthunter remix but the 10" also features remixes by Tom Furse (The Horrors) and Chris Flatline (Endurance). This is the post where Tom The Horrors Furse chops up the classsy cold wave of E.Gold's "Seperate Our Hearts" gobbles it down with a glass of chianti and some fava beans then shits out the results over a shuddering machine drum groove before all the elements coalesce T1000 style around the 4 minute mark.
