Ever since Burial and Kode 92s mix for Mary Anne Hobbes' final Experimental show on BBC 1, I have been scouring for a Brandy remix featured in that set. El-B 's "El-Brand" gets a much deserved re-release. Following Blawan's other Brandy-sampled release earlier this year, 2011 has become the year of 902s throwbacks. More Garage, Big Tune. It's hard to believe how fast Dubstep has blown up in the last few years. This formerly unknown type of music is now one of the coolest and most popular electronic subgenres around. Ondanks dat we nog immer verstoken blijven van nieuws omtrent Burial's nieuwe album, kunnen we gelukkig wel genieten van nieuw materiaal van William Bevan. Op de in april te verschijnen compilatie "Nu-Levels", dat uitgebracht wordt op het Ghost Recordings-label van El-B, zal een nieuwe track van Burial te vinden zijn. Het nummer heeft nog geen titel, maar werd onlangs wel al op de radio afgespeeld. En hieronder kun je genieten van een radio-rip. Een uitstekende track, dat zoals gewoonlijk heel erg Burials klinkt.

Burial and the man before Burial, garage legend and dubstep pioneer El-B, are conspiring to collaborate on an upcoming compilation release dubbed Nu-Levels . Due to drop on El-B's imprint, Ghost Recordings, in April, El told Fact mag that the release will feature "Zed Bias, Burial, El-B, Narrows, MRK-1, Luke Envoy, Heny-G, J da Flex plus three new artists: Yoof, Karmine, Opus" as well as a host of vocal talent.
