It's been 5 years since I last wrote about music by Elam Blackman . That's astounding for a number of reasons. For one it's a miracle that I've written this blog for that long, secondly it's crazy that I haven't followed up on that first post about Elam. Ultimately eremy•JIrvin's vision rings true to the origin of organic folk music, music for and by the people. At November 23rd's performance at [...]

Appalachia rooted, but New York based Americana artist, Alexa Woodward, brings her nation-wide tour to Louisville November 23rd accompanied by Knoxville folk singer Elam Blackman.
