We Are Trees Going into 2009's CMJ Festival , Surfer Blood, The xx and Warpaint were poised to be the breakout acts. In 2010, the field is wide open with over 1200 bands seeking approval from NYC audiences. Still, the bands that should generate the most attention are Lord Huron, We Are Trees, Cloud Nothings, Lower Dens, Wild Nothing, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., Circle Pit, and Yuck.
