I've learned over the years that anything produced by Nebraska's Mike Mogis is worth checking out. Mogis, who in the past has helped make records for everyone from Bright Eyes to M. Ward and Rilo Kiley, recently helped mold the debut full-length album for New York City trio Elizabeth & The Catapults. A bass line, a couple blows from a trumpet, and Elizabther Ziman's playful lyrics (which include a topical jab at Wall Street) drive "Taller Children," the album's title-track.
