There was a lot of good music 50 years ago.
Ahhh, so we've finally made it. After 25 hectic days, Christmas is upon us. The presents are wrapped, the feet are infront of the fire, you've probably eaten a few boxes of roses already (I know I have), and at last, we've made it to number one in our chart. What more could you want, than Elvis singing out Christmas Eve to you, with Blue Christmas. Elvis Presley & Martina McBride - Blue Christmas on MUZU .

Dear Santa Family , I live in Buffalo & i would like to personally thank you for this mild winter season. Fridays 'round these parts typically see gobs of remixes. Today didn't seem right posting a "Friday Remixes," partly due to the fact that this entire weekend most people will be celebrating Christmas with family, friends and loved ones. I plan on doing the bulk of my shopping today and my procrastinating has taken me as far out as possible. No matter how hard I try to fight it every year, I fall into the same trap. Saturday will be full of football from morning till nighttime. I'm in the championship game of my fantasy league, so I'll be [...]
We must have been in a hurry to put up our last post on this subject because we missed a whole bunch of holiday stinkers. Here is the rest of our list of the best of the worst Christmas songs of all-time: "Last Christmas" by Wham Released in 1984, shortly after we were introduced to George Michael and his white short shorts. "The Chipmunk Song" by Alvin and the Chipmunks [...]

Christmas, Three Years Ago, I started this blog. Every year of my life has been a blessing on many levels. Not so much on the blog front, but definitely on the personal front. This blog was made to help promote new music and a venting board for myself. It has done both and also been super time consuming. I love it at times and I also want to give it all up five minutes later. But I don't, not yet, tee-hee. This years Christmas Compilation - Culture PopMas 2011, is probably on my favorites from the last three years. As [...]

Filed under: News , Holy Hell Michael Ochs Archives/Getty Images Since his death, the legend of Elvis Presley has garnered some pretty weird rumors while attracting several serious nut jobs. According to Billboard, a Swedish woman named Lisa Johansen has sued the late singer's estate for over $130 million in damages. And why would she do this? Remember when OUT editor Aaron Hicklin penned an open letter to Adam Lambert two years ago and chastised him shunning the gay publication while appearing in Details and "awkwardly grabbing a woman's breast"? Well, surprise — the two of them have made up now, and had a nice chat for Adam's inclusion in the annual OUT100 feature. Running with the piece is a portrait of the recent MTV EMA performer , shot by Gavin Bond, which mimics Any Warhol's famous print of Elvis Presley. Andy [...]

As the trial of Michael Jackson's former doctor Conrad Murray wears on, Forbes reports that the onetime King Of Pop is #1 on the publication's annual list of Top-Earning Dead Celebrities. It's the second year in a row the music legend has topped the list, though Forbes points out that the $170 million his estate raked in over the past 12 months, via sales of his music and his stake in the Sony/ATV catalog, is a steep drop from the $275 million that landed Jackson at #1 on last year's [...]

Clearing a dead mouse out a trap wasn't the most ideal starts to the day, and yes I know that we should have bought a humane trap, but when none of the stores nearby seemed to stock them I am afraid I had to invest in something lethal. Fuck it, Erin's safety comes first, as cute as they look I don't want her going anywhere near mouse droppings (they do bear an uncanny resemblance to her beloved raisins you see). I suppose in the grand scale of things it doesn't make much of a difference as I don't feel that [...]
