A few weeks ago, Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo were invited down to the BBC Maida Vale studios to take part in the annual 'Choir of Angels' session for Dermot O'Leary's 2012 Christmas Show. It's a Christmas affair involving three other singer-songwriters, those being Ren Harvieu, Rumer and Kristina Train . Each chose a Christmas song that they wanted to cover and headed into the studio for the day. © 2012 Greenland Photography The Revival Tour has left European shores for another year, but whilst the gang was in Manchester Hannah and I caught up with Emily Barker. The Australian singer/songwriter - who supported Frank Turner with, her band, The Red Clay Halo and released 'Almanac' last year - talked to us about her multiple projects, her latest single and dealing with the spontaneous nature of The Revival Tour.
Chuck Ragan recently brought The Revival Tour back to Europe, this time with Cory Branan, Rocky Votolato, Emily Barker and Jay Malinowski in tow. Whilst in Manchester, Chuck was kind enough to take part in a session for Loitering With Intent. He performed 'Nothing Left To Prove', the opening track from 20112s 'Covering Ground'. The tour wrapped up this week in Leeds, but I'm sure Chuck will be back again, with another gang of awesome musicians and maybe even a new record, in 2013.
