I was a bit skeptical when I heard Emily Haines would be releasing a solo record. I like Metric but I don't looooove them. And I love her work with Broken Social Scene....but for some reason I didn't think I'd care about a solo record of hers. Then Spin published this article which included an mp3. This added to the streaming track available on Emily's website ( download an mp3 at the Kisser ) have me officially stoked for this record. Very atmospheric, beautiful stuff.
