On Friday 20th May we return to our monthly regular at 93 Feet East, Brick Lane hosting the bar with Deathwish Disco next door in the main room. I could fill this whole post with Adventure Club remixes , picking songs with strong vocals like Temper Trap, James Vincent McMorrow and Diana Vickers just sounds so right, powerful stuff and good club sounds aswell. This afternoons dubstep track comes from the UK collective, Engine-Earz Experiemnt (EEX), that is headed by Prashant Misty. The collective has remixed artists from Sean Paul through to Basement Jaxx, and have started to gain attention from fans across the world. They sent us the first single from their forthcoming debut and I'm really digging it. Taking experimental dance onto the live stage is the future. The BBC are doing some serious cut-backs in the next couple of years and we're losing some incredible stations which could almost be called musical institutions and 1xtra has been mentioned however I'm not sure if that will be getting the cut as well.
