Non se ne sentiva neanche troppo la mancanza dato che Erlend Øye non è mai sparito dalla circolazione anzi con i restanti Whitest Boy Alive ha pubblicato ben due album in tre anni, tralasciando le varie altre collaborazioni. After a long time romance with Kings of Convenience , I can recognize Erlend Øye's voice anywhere. For some reason, it took six months for The Whitest Boy Alive , essentially Kings of Convenience electronified, to really grow on me. Perhaps because I felt that the simplicity of his songwriting didn't need that extra push. However TWBA's songs do have a bit more dance appeal, and prove to be truly enjoyable. Most of the tracks are similar however, and other than these few that stand out, I can't help thinking, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. [...]
