Errors - Have Some Faith In Magic By David Lichfield A stylistic shift is always a welcome move when a band hits the second or third wind of their career, and the already unique ambience magicians Errors may be a man down after the departure of Greg Paterson, but there's little on the Glasgow trio's third full-length album Have Some Faith In Magic to suggest that the band haven't reassembled themselves effortlessly to no detriment to their craft, adding vocals to their lush and layered hook-laden [...]

There was a time when if I was still up at half six in the morning on a Saturday it would be because I was still up from the night before. Nowadays though, you're more likely to find me battling with my daughter as I try to get her to her breakfast, followed by several hours of CBeebies. It might not be very rock n roll and yes it is pretty tiring, but hey unless you've been up at that time you'll never know quite how funny it is to hear cartoon trains talking about have a 'chug wash'. As [...]
King Post Kitsch In his quest to continue to give away great music for free, King Post Kitsch really does rule the roost. This week he decided to share a new EP with the world and rather ace it is too, coming in at just under 6 minutes it's a short but sweet trip, but one well worth taking. I am particularly taken with the lead instrumental track, 'Nocturnal Wandering', but as always with these things you don't need to take my word for it, find out for yourself by downloading the EP for free here [...]
Music videos are seldomly as ambitious as Errors' Pleasure Palaces . Errors really have something here and I know it's ridiculously early to predict my picks for best video of the year, but it's pretty hard to imagine that there will be anyone who can surpass this. Have Some Faith In Magic will be released on the 31st of this month and if Pleasure Palaces and its video are any indicator, looks to be quite good. Well, let's just let it speak for itself... [...]

Y U NO REVIEW: JAN. '12
In this Y U NO REVIEW, Anthony talks a bit about the latest album releases from Common, Crosses, Enter Shikari, Kayo Dot, and Asher Roth. Here are some short opinions on other albums that were missed this past month as well: 1. Machinedrum- SXLND (LuckyMe) I think people tend to assume that every album that gets incorporated into this segment must not be that enjoyable to me or something. That's not completely the truth since there are even decent releases that I can't necessarily get to. On [...]
Errors – Have Some Faith In Magic
Releasing two near faultless albums sounds great, but when it means the third has a lot to live up to then the pressure is surely on. For their third effort, Errors have decided to add something new. Of course, vocals aren't exactly ground-breaking in the world of music, but the post-rock, post-electro (will the post-s never end?) four-piece are dabbling in it properly for the first time. But new is all very well and good, but consistency also rules, and here, the Glaswegian's have weaved another web of electronic glory. Huge mesmerising tunes that cry [...]

[Watch] Errors - "Pleasure Palaces" (Official Video)
Errors have offered up the official visual for their track "Pleasure Palaces" which is set to appear on their upcoming release, Have Some Faith In Magic. The video is one hell of a weird trip featuring what I think is an interpretation of the internet with people covered in Windows mouse pointers and a globe for a head. Add in some super imposed faces and dancing and you get a slightly disturbing watch but none the less the track is great and well worth 6 minutes of your day. It is Friday after all! [...]

Video: Errors - "Pleasure Palaces"
Glasgow instrumental band Errors are known for...well, their instrumental performances. On their third album Have Some Faith In Magic out January 31st via Rock Action Records, the band breaks away from that staple by adding *shock* vocals to some of the songs. To be fair, it's merely chanting, but it's an interesting change for the band. Watch their new video for "Pleasure Palaces" below to hear the added chants. Read more »

Errors – 'Pleasure Palaces' (video)
A heavy dose of computer icon weirdness is on display in the video for 'Pleasure Palaces' directed by Rachel Maclean, the first single from Errors ' new and third album Have Some Faith In Magic released January 30th on Mogwai's Rock Action Records. It's a bit like Washed Out this one. The Glaswegians appear to have delved further into electronic sphere and it suits them as do the addition of surging vocals to this previously-instrumental band. A Dublin date is lined up for February 18th in The Grand Social and they're on a UK [...]
