Even As We Speak - Australische Sarah Records-Legenden Heute empfehle ich zur Abwechslung mal wieder was Älteres - dafür aber perfekten IndiePOP! Als es das legendäre Sarah Records-Label noch gab, Anfang der 90er, war neben Another Sunny Day, Field Mice und Secret Shine für mich vor allem eine Band dort besonders hörenswert: Even As We Speak aus Australien. Ihr Debütalbum «Feral Pop Frenzy» ist voller toller Pop-Hymnen - 2-3 Minuten-Stücke, die fröhlich und unbeschwert nach vorne hoppeln, mit einer Prise Primitives u.ä. britischer Bands gemischt.
