CMW in Review: Everlea (03/11/11)

I have waited almost 6 months to catch Everlea play. When I found out that they were playing a set at the Hard Rock Cafe during CMW, I knew I had to check it out. During their short-lived set, the boys debuting some new tracks entitled "Believe", "We Collided" and "Hold Me Under". I was a bit peeved about the crowd because they insisted on playing a game of keep-it-up with some balloons that were settled on the ground of the venue. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against having fun...I'm just picky about crowds (if that makes any sense). [...]

The music of Kingston, Ontario natives, Everlea, is ethereal to say the least. The band has toured with the likes of Secondhand Serenade , Taking Back Sunday and Crush Luther . For me, Everlea has made studying during this past week a real chore. Truth be told...I have had their songs on repeat pretty much since their guitarist, Casey, emailed me about the band.
