On Tuesday, a 37-year-old woman threw an eight-inch kitchen knife at her boyfriend after he purposefully crop-dusted her on his way to the kitchen. The Huffington Post requested the arrest report of Deborah Ann Burns, in which the woman admitted to the Collier County Sheriff's Department of her vengeful attack. Bruno Coutinho of Petrópolis, Brazil, was cleaning his harpoon gun at home recently when the trigger accidentally went off and projected a four-foot metal harpoon through the man's eye and into his brain. Coutinho, 34, called authorities while a harpoon was lodged in his cranium and was rushed to Santa Teresa Hospital, where doctors successfully removed the spear after four hours of multiples surgeries (in a 10-hour time span). Coming in at well under two minutes, this debut track from Hiding Face may not be particularly substantial in length, but it more than makes up for that with its emotional punch. The gruff Berninger-esque vocals of Hiding Face make the track what it is, paired with the poignant, ever-so self-depreciating lyrics 'when I had feelings, I could talk to pretty girls without being a dick', create a song that at first listen appears simplistic yet is deeply embedded with guilt and a craving for solitude.
