Fake Blood is excitedly returning with his first EP after a half year absence from production! The dark electro producer is planning to mark the release of his forthcoming three track ‘Yes/No EP’ on Different Recordings with style by headlining Fabric Nightclub this Friday the 21st September 2012. One of our very favorite artists— Black Mountain, North Carolina's Seth Kauffman—is gearing up for the release of his fifth LP and third under the nom de plume Floating Action on September 4th with Fake Blood . British producer Theo Keating, better known as Fake Blood, has built quite a substantial fan base with his unique brand of electro-house music. His style is typified by the kind of thick, heavy drops that are present in his remix of Calvin Harris' "Ready For The Weekend," and his hit single, "Mars."  It looks as though Theo has kept that sound with his upcoming  Yes/No   EP . Theo Keating prepares the much awaited debut album for release on Different Recordings...

Fake Blood’s eagerly anticipated debut album, ‘Cells’, will be released on Different Recordings this autumn. Renowned for his hi octane, electro-influenced productions, this record is set to be one of the standout albums of 2012. For those of you who were with us in 2007 and havent since sacrificed clubbing in favour of responsibility will know that we have always admired the work of messers Fake Blood and Boy 8-Bit. However it has to be said that in the last couple of years we havent been playing much of their music as it hasnt had the panache of previous work, I guess partly due to the electro scene shrinking in popularity and old themes sounding a little tired, and therefore it was with equal measures of hope and trepidation that we downloaded the latest [...]

That's right, one of our favourite producers ever Boy 8-Bit will be releasing new material on Fake Bloods 'Blood Music' label. A first tease in the form of "We Move By Night" was uploaded to Youtube and fronts a sound rather unique to both producers. The dark 8-bit chimes are reminiscent to his earlier stuff like  "The Suspense Is Killing Me" but after a few listens you'd just expect to hear the 'Fake Blood' sample to pop up! This week's Flashback Fridays is from one of my favorite producers, London based producer Fake Blood . Release in 2009 on the "Fix your Accent" EP, which by the way if you haven't heard, go hear it now since all the tracks on that EP are massive. The track contains samples from the song "In The Heat Of A Disco Night" by Arabesque and contains funky samples along with a pounding bassline. First time I heard, I was floored.
