Say Anything have announced the dates for their upcoming tour, The Say Anarchy Tour. Joining Say Anything will be Naples, FL's Fake Problems and Brooklyn, NY's Kevin Devine and the Goddamn Band. The Front Bottoms and TALLHART (ex-Marksmen) will be on select dates. Say Anything will be touring in support of their upcoming album, Anarchy, My Dear , which is due out March 31st, 2012 . Florida doesn't have the best history with alternative-rock music festivals, but that hasn't stopped Orlando's Orange You Glad from going strong for four years. The festival's 2012 iteration, set for March 8-11th, packs its biggest bill yet. Cults, Grimes, Tennis, Everything is Terrible, and Born Gold have already been confirmed, and today the festival added Fake Problems, Zambri, Mr. Gnome, Grandchildren, Deleted Scenes, and more. As we prepare to close the books on 2011 and open the books on 2012, we here at Punknews would like to give artists (and other music industry types who pay the toll) a chance to look back on some of their favorite records, books, experiences and all other manner of madness from 2011. Today we're lucky enough to have Tim Brown of Elway , Chris Farren of Fake Problems and Ray Carlisle of Teenage Bottlerocket .
When we set out to make these lists at the end of each year, we usually try to include tracks that aren't on the Best of Albums List to narrow down the choices. This year we took a more honest approach, but it was terrible to cut 365 days worth of songs down to a mere 25 tracks. We changed them up until the last possible minute, driving ourselves, our loved ones, and each other crazy with our "what if..."s. Melanie and I have been talking about doing a recording project for The Ruckus for a very long time, and we recently saw that idea come to fruition in the form of the newly minted Ampersand Sessions .
