The third day at the 2013 Sasquatch! Music Festival got a little wild and woolly — and wonderful too, thanks to Elvis Costello's value-added but under-attended set that included a cameo from Wild Belle. Sunday is another example of how four day festivals are addictive, because regardless of being irritated by those camping neighbours who stayed on the campgrounds rather than attending shows, and regardless of the fact that you've slept very little due to their chemical and caffeine combinations, you have some amazing shows to attend [...]

Eye Emma Jedi 's "Places" is the sort of guitar-driven, adrenaline-pumping indie rock we don't nearly get enough of these days. Hailing from Norway, these Scandinavian chaps spent 100 days outside the village of Marbella on the Southern coast of Spain recording their debut album. "Places" is our first taste of said LP and reminds us of Fang Island in all the right ways. Fun fact: Dan Croll used to play with these guys. So chew on that. Stream the track below. As mentioned , Callers are about to start a March residency at Williamsburg venue Union Pool and we now know the rest bills for each show. The kickoff show on March 7 features Olga Bell and TEEN ; the March 14th show is with Fang Island ; and on March 21 it's Here We Go Magic's Luke Temple and still-to-be-revealed "special guests." Brooklyn/Providence crew Callers released their third album, Reviver , last year via Partisan. Originally a collaboration between Sara Lucas and Ryan Seaton, Callers are now a four-piece band and if you haven't heard the new album, you can stream it below via Spotify. You've got The Postal Service reuniting (and maybe Ben Gibbard runs in to Danny Brown randomly and he's all like "You wanna collab?" Sasquatch! 2013 (May 24-27, 2013) The lineup for the 2013 Sasquatch! Music Festival (May 24-27, 2013) dropped this morning/last night with a bomb. Every Memorial Day, I think about a flying to Portland and making the drive to Washington for Sasquatch. I haven't been this "jazzed" about a festival lineup in quite some time due to the amount of music festivals making the rounds.
