Saturday was the National Day of Sweden. While our distant Scandinavian neighbors celebrated thousands of miles away, we took the weekend to discover some great new Swedish acts and will be sharing our findings throughout the week. Fantasikrig has been on my repeat radar for several weeks now. I was lucky enough to get my hands on their debut EP, Behjärtansvärd , and became an instant fan of their acoustic indie pop. Nils, Louise, Hanna, Andreas, Anna and Simon may record entirely in Swedish, but nothing feels lost in translation about their sunny lullabies [...]
