There’s definitely something going on at camp Fear Of Tigers . First we get a new track last month, Golden Age , now an official reMix for hotly tipped songstress A*M*E ’s new single Heartless . All this new activity gives us hopes for the long awaited release of Fear Of Tigers’ Hypnerotomachia Poliphiliout , the follow up to 2009’s Cossus Snufsigalonica . This reMix is pure classic Fear Of Tigers too. Epic, emotional, nostalgic ElectroPop full of those big chords and intricate electronic flourishes that we love FoT for. Taking A*M*E’s [...]

Guess what, sun is up here in Gothenburg, and Fear of Tigers is back with a new track! I'm not gonna go into why I'm jumpin up and down right now, and why the biggest smile stretches across my face. It's better if you just press play. Golden Age reminds of why I fell in love with Fear of Tigers in the first place, and the golden days of music blogging. Oh,happy days!

Wow, this is Fear of Tigers like you've never heard them, chopped up and bursting with energy. This track from the London-based producer mashes several dance music genres into one dreamy epic space journey into the future. I really hope Fear of Tigers finally makes good on a promise for a new album this year!

Stop the press! Fear Of Tigers is back! It’s been far too long since we’ve had a whole new Fear Of Tigers track. Undoubtedly one of the best producers in the UK right now, the wait for Fear Of Tiger’s sophomore album as been next to agonising. Originally due out in June last year (the last we heard from FoT was May 2012 ) the album, Hypnerotomachia Poliphiliout , always seems tantalisingly close, but so far away. But today we can, at least, get a feel for the forthcoming record with this brand new [...]
London gloomy ElectroPop duo Evokateur are about to release their new EP. Chime Hours is the follow up to the awesome Crow’s Wedding record. The new release joins the dots between Evokateur’s Gothy beginnings and their more Poppy recent output. Not only that, but there is a reMix by my friend and yours, the one and only, Mr. Fear Of Tigers . Chime Hours kicks off with 1684 , a swirling, lush tune that neatly sits in a place between robotic and ethereal. Hector laying down his [...]

Finally! After dropping one or two amazing demos and previews from his forthcoming new album, Fear Of Tigers has dropped out first taste of a proper new track. It seems like we’ve been hanging on forever for some new originals from FoT, the new album can’t come soon enough. The new track, ‘Soliloquy’, is surprisingly Nu-Disco for a Fear Of Tiger’s track, especially the first half of the track, which takes in some cut-up big room techniques for a pumping sound, but none of this can disguise that sweet Fear Of Tigers sound. Those FoT emotional [...]

So What's your name... And you thought One Kiss was hard enough to resist? 'Soliloquy' has Fear of Tigers giving some serious mischievous charm. In just under 4 and half minutes Fear of Tigers gives us a track with a dance igniting bass-line littered with bright and fluttering synths, wonderfully cheesy audio dating service ads, sensual saxophones and even evokes the divine. Reading this back, I can see how you might be left scratching your head. Trust me, the one thing I have learned is not to question Fear Of Tigers , but [...]

Great to hear some new stuff from our buddy Fear of Tigers . You recognize his slightly less than minimalist soundscape, which is a refreshing change in these times of deep house/disco. The funky electro bass is kind of new in his repertoire though. "Ma Foom Bay" don't make us any less anxious waiting for the album. Ma Foom Bay (demo) by fearoftigers About that name, I'm not sure what the connection is to Cultural Vibe's old house classic from 1986 with [...]

Watch out for this one. Fear of Tigers preview a current work in progress that combines masterful sampling and production, drawing from a number of influences including some hard-hitting French house styles. No news on where this is headed for now (perhaps their upcoming album), but be patient. This is sure to make some waves! Ma Foom Bay (demo) by fearoftigers
