Skrillex is all the rage these days. Apparently he's also in an emo band that was fairly popular in the last decade. There's little of that expressiveness in his recent deluge of dubstep tracks, including my favorite of the subgenre at the moment: a vitriol-infused remix of Gaga called Die This Way . Other mashers, MCs, etc. recognize his abrasive sound-producing prowess and pay tribute by adding their own touches to his growing catalog of music. The aggressive juggernauts of the harsh and the dirty dubstep: Feed Me, Knife Party and Skrillex, have been compiled into an impressive five-minute mashup of complete mental madness. Not that we are huge fans of mashups overall, but we give respect where it is due, for Seatle producer Maluu to have the cojones to combine three of this years gems into one coherent megamix.
