Feed Me is set to take a break from DJing after an awkward run in at a Beats By Dre party and venturing over to EDC last weekend. In a somewhat reflective set of Tweets the British graphic designer/producer, the main force behind his live show and graffiti piece with Zed during his time here during Future Music , spieled about having "absolutely no idea what was going on" at the Dre Hip Hop party and last weeks EDC. He says he still enjoys DJing and is [...]

Everyone's favorite little green goblin Feed Me (Jon Gooch) has just announced via Twitter his impending retirement from DJing. In a series of tweets last night, Feed Me voiced his concerns on staying true to himself and his passion, defining DJing as "not an art". After touring extensively in 2012 on his own impressive "With Teeth" Tour (pictured), this news comes as a shock to many. The talented producer has said Autumn 2013 will be the end of his live DJ performances. You can read Feed Me's full tweets below. [...]
Jon Gooch, the DJ/production dynamo behind dubstep/electro entity Feed Me and influential drum 'n' bass project Spor, announced via Twitter that he plans to take a respite from DJing in the fall. The news was certainly unexpected, especially considering that Gooch has been touring consistently and has become a major name on the global electronic music scene. "I went to a Dance Music 'EDC' event last week and had absolutely no idea what was going on," he tweeted. "...However I've got a pressing feeling that its not...what I'm supposed to be doing. Around Autumn time I intent to stop, at [...]
The British graphic designer and production genius behind Spor and Feed Me , Jon Gooch, has decided to - for lack of a better word - "quit" DJing after this summer festival season. Always an artist first and DJ second, Jon has developed numerous creative projects surrounding his Feed Me persona - including an animatronic version of the green goblin he designed. Like so many producer's in today's dance music world, the act of DJing has simply become a means for performing his work and Jon believes that the experience is "not art." He took to [...]
If you didn't already know, we're big fans of Feed Me here at SalaciousSound. His 'With Teeth' set is a great example of branding across interconnected media, stretching from graphic design into a live show. His show this weekend in Toronto won't be with giant LED panels, nor will it be with his giant animatronic Feed Me model , but it'll be interesting to see how Jon Gooch's post-Spor career has honed his stripped-down DJ skills. Event Info [...]
Jon Gooch, the man behind Feed Me , is easily one of the most versatile producers in the business. While he's garnered renown under the guise of Feed Me releasing spectacular electro and dubstep, it's easy to forget his previous life as drum 'n' bass producer Spor. Turning back the clock, Feed Me's newest remix of Monsta's "Messiah" is an ode to both the breakbeat revolution of the 902s as well as his success under his former moniker. Emphasizing the original's uplifting vocals while layering complex percussive patterns, Feed Me's remix to "Messiah" is one of his most impressive releases to [...]
London based electronic live band Monsta dropped off an impressive single "Messiah" and got 2 completely different remixes from Feed Me and Dirty South outside of the initial Alvin Risk remix. First up we have a fierce electro house from fellow English bass friend Feed Me who delivers his signautre sound. Dirt South takes the track in a progressive house club anthem direction, working unbelieveably well. Who's do you like better? You can grab the Dirty South version through Beatport. Enjoy! Monsta - Messiah (Feed Me Remix) | Stream Only [...]
Editors’ Selections is an opportunity for your favorite Dancing Astronaut contributors to talk about some of the music they’re listening to that we might not always get an opportunity to post about from week to week. Sometimes it’s out there, sometimes it’s obscure, but you’ll always get a peek into what we’re loving behind closed doors. Gabi: The Neighbourhood - Sweater Weather (James Lavelle Remix) There's nothing like a track that commands your attention from first bar [...]

Black Hills - Waiting For You (Oliver Remix) [Compuphonic] LA production duo Oliver hit gold again with a 802s style twist on Kris Menace's single Waiting for You , adding vintage analog synths and an infectious groove to create an absolute stunner. Feed Me is back with an amazingly catchy new remix of Monsta's "Messiah." Monsta was recently signed to Skrillex's OWSLA label, and is becoming a phenomenal up and coming producer. There are no dirty signature Feed Me drops in this one, just a fast upbeat instrumental with great vocals to go along with it. No word yet on the official release date, but the original Monsta track will be released on May 6. The post Monsta - Messiah (Feed Me Remix) appeared first on PB&J .
In a week where birthdays, events and weird disorganized occurrences have truly gone down.. Feature Cuts , Xristo and MONSTA sweep away the rubble and place into the ground an unsystematic barrage of shredded electro house ( Feature Cuts ).. a modern classic of energetic main room excitement ( Xristo ) and a gargantuan old skool type - hardcore/breaks mixture from Feed Me - who remixes MONSTA . Newcomers The Juggernaut go for a brave and slow electronic display that doesn’t pack too much surprises, but does manage to stir up interest [...]
Jon Gooch has returned, and he's done so in excellent fashion. His latest production may be under the guise of Feed Me , but it's brimming with conspicuous Spor influence. While Dirty South unveiled his big room remix of " Messiah " last week, Feed Me's dubstep and breaks rendition has just been aired, and it's phenomenal. Alvin Risk may have gotten the first stab at a dubstep remix, but Feed Me's production is arguably stronger, making wonderful use of the vocals and layering diverse drum patterns. Dubstep at times, breakbeat at others, Feed Me's brilliant take on the empowering single will be [...]
Feeling hungry? Feed Me's here to quench that palette. Fresh off his Death By Robot EP back in January, Jonathan Gooch takes a stab at Monsta's "Messiah". This man of many names (he also goes by Spor and Seventh Stitch) takes vocalist Skaar's infectious lyrics and turns this track on its head. Its an uplifting and bouncy [...]

Feed Me takes us through three live performances he believes every dance music fan has to sink their teeth into at some point which is... Well, ironical because his live performance has a set up with teeth. Which of these performances have you seen live? 1. The Prodigy The energy I've seen at Prodigy's shows is pretty much unmatched from what I can tell. There isn't really a track featured that doesn't resonate or induce a massive reaction; I'd recommend it to anyone. 2. Boys [...]
