In January, the marvelous website couchsurfing.org brought us a terrific set of houseguests: a couple from the beaches of California asked to stay in my home while they came to Colorado to pick up the due-any-day baby that they had just been chosen to be the adoptive parents of. Yes, we loved every single second of it. It was all quite spectacularly superb. From the delightful melodies to the rock out moments. This year's Juno Awards take place in Ottawa on 4/1, and today the nominees for their annual prizes were revealed. A lot of familiar names - Drake, Feist, Avril Lavigne - headline the nominees. Something tells me the Black Keys won't be happy with a selection or two.
