What Kristen did to Rob apparently hasn't deterred a bunch of great bands from contributing new music to final movie of The Twilight Saga . As Yahoo! reports , the soundtrack for Breaking Dawn - Part 2 features contributions from St. Vincent , Passion Pit , Green Day , Feist , and Pop ETC . Wednesday, September 26th, 2012 I sat at Toronto's Massey Hall in anticipation of what I knew would be an amazing show. With Massey Hall undoubtedly being my favourite venue for its wonderful acoustics, I expected the pairing to be magical.  Although I had extremely high anticipations, those were nonetheless surpassed once Grizzly Bear came on stage and Ed Droste, Daniel Rossen, Chris Taylor and Christopher Bear began performing. After American-New Zealand band  Unknown Mortal Orchestra opened , Grizzly Bear made their way on at 9:15 [...]

Last weekend Feist won the rather coveted Polaris Award for excellence in Canadian recorded music so we figured we would post a little something in her honor. It seems as though Leslie Feist has come along way since her iPod commercial days and Metals is one original, dark and melodic album. The album is great and Feist really shines in her live performances, so enjoy a couple of our favorites below.

Feist, who described winning as "getting the Valentine from the right boy", had previously been nominated for 20072s The Reminder and twice as a member of Broken Social Scene.
