The project, dubbed Fever Ray , is going to be out sometime this fall via Rabid Records , the same Swedish imprint that released all the previous epic Knife works because, well, The Knife owns the label. New Music: First Floor Power - The Jacket (Karin of The Knife Remix) To me, everything that The Knife touches turns to gold. So, when I saw this Karin Dreijer's (singer of The Knife) remix of First Floor Power 's new single "The Jacket" posted on Discobelle , I downloaded it immediately. The original, which you can stream on FFP's MySpace page , is quality post-punk goodness, but the remix is certifiably seductive. It's a stripped down, dark-disco workout reminiscent of Throbbing Gristle...and wouldn't ya know it? It kinda sounds like The Knife. Go figure!
