I waited four long years for Fischerspooner 's latest album "Entertainment" and it was worth it. Fischerspooner have always been one of my favorite Electropop bands. L.A based Classixx (formerly The Young Americans) have been catching the ears of many with their re-invention of the remix. Classixx always seem to radically rework tracks they are asked to work on, so much so, alot of these remixes could be considered covers or brand new productions. Sooooo, big this month are... Classixx , who are doing the electro/discohouse thing with much aplomb. Mixes of Holy Ghost! and Fischerspooner definitely stand out, as does single "I'll Get You" but are all in a similar vein, so it is nice to hear them broadening their repertoire with something a little deeper and, possibly, darker.
