Fisting - unmastered by Bongripper Chicago metal outfit Bongripper deals in all things heavy. If it's a style of rock that features heavy riffs, and tons of bass, the band has probably indulged in it at some point across the five albums its released since '06. The group has just released a new unmastered single on its Bandcamp titled "Fisting," and the track has a pretty climatic progression. It all starts with a noisy, ominous drone. Eventually, doom-bringing riffs start pounding away in the mix just before the band breaks into blast beats and [...]

Frantik - Da Art of Hearts Breaking I'm glad to introduce to you guys a brand new song, an exclusive only featured on womazing.com, titled "Da Art of Hearts Breaking" by Frantik. This song begins with heartfelt lyrics that express the emcees feelings and views of life. What I like about Frantik is he always finds a way to turn lyrics that seem a bit heavy, into a situation wherein he teaches his listeners a lesson or two. In this song he displays one of his main directions in music, which is to turn [...]

So it seems Oneman 's signing is somewhat in love with his surroundings, considering he's entitled his new track Room 502 (after his label 502 Recordings ). It's great to see smaller labels popping up under these economic conditions, especially good dance labels. Fis-T is probably best known for his minor club hit Night Hunter , which was a BS-free shock to the system for angsty dubsteppers, constructed with a gargling of bassline at its core to produce something no-frills and purely atmospheric. This new track seems African-vibed, UK Funky rider, [...]

Click image to download track Sounds like: Jamie xx, Deadboy, Joanna Newsom "Hackman - Fists of Ham" What's so good? I just stumbled across this joint from Hackman , and it's one of the coolest tracks I've heard in a long time. Originally released in January, it is a melodious but bassy house take on Joanna Newsom's "Jackrabbits." Hackman once again demonstrates his [...]

Robert Wyatt and his cozily alien voice make another welcome appearance on the 'blague. I recently busted out his Shleep record and was reminded of why it's good to keep albums around that you suspect might grow on you. While not the spirit triumph of Rock Bottom , it's a beautiful and weird cycle of sleepy-brained tunes apparently inspired by their creator's insomnia. Good enough that two specimens are warranted. The first was co-written with Eno, and its jaunty, gentlemanly funk gives has that signature all [...]
Filed under: Video of the Day Artist: The Living Kills Video: 'My Gun' Highlight: "We watch a lot of B-horror movies -- Hammer films, Japanese '70s cult classic 'Hausu,' ' The Wicker Man .' We try not to take ourselves too seriously and the creepiness and humor is what we try to do with our music," organ player Jennifer Bassett tells Spinner. "For the video, we wanted to mix comedy and violence, on a budget. The idea was sparked by an old croquet [...]

Unsigned bands continue to kill it! Three of my recent favorites, Skull Fist, Exemption and Caligula's Horse, are briefly reviewed after the jump. I had Skull Fist's last record on my desk for months with the intent to write about it, but for some reason I never did. Now I've got another chance via [...]
A Fist in the Face of God has posted an excellent interview with guitarist Scott Andersson of Swedish death act Maim ahead of their upcoming UK live debut at Live Evil: http://afistinthefaceofgod.blo gspot.com/2011/09/interview-wi th-scott-of-maim.html And yes, "Deceased to exist" is a great record and far better than their debut.

The Kickaways As most of you know, it's a big week for music in Cincinnati at the MidPoint Music Festival celebrates its 10th year. And as we have already mentioned, there is alot going outside of the usual evening showcases as well. One of those things are some live recorded sessions at Cincinnati's historic Ultrasuede Studios on Thursday and Friday. The good folks at The All Night Party are putting on "Ultrasessions" this year, and we want you to be in attendance for the intimate performances. More about the sessions below... [...]
In the mood for something a little filthy? Mustard Pimp is about to make sure you never fall asleep listening to opera again with this kicking banger. I don't know why no one thought of this sooner, but sampling opera and then turning it into an insane electro battle royal was genius. I'm feeling a whole new genre of music. Someone needs to run with this. Electropera? In other news.. I'm making some upgrades to The Quiet Floor experience. From now on most MP3's will be streamable via HTML5. That means [...]
Goddamn, this just made my day. An official video for the opening cut from Methuzulah's ill 2010 joint, Kemetic Aha ? You best believe I'm going to be pumping this shit all day. I had no idea this was coming. If you're a newcomer to this track, get ready to get smacked upside your dome as the Zulu Nation poet spits one of his nastiest verses over a classic Primo beat. The gritty black and white visuals provided by Rick Foy of Dvid Films only serves to add to the song's menacing atmosphere. [...]

As the new season of Jersey Shore (Italy) come's to a start, it's a known fact that this show is stupid-funny, some even call it retarded (Me) Now think back to the month of March, when we brought you an incredible line-up & a MASSIVE show. Yes I am speaking of Dada Life & Mustard-Pimp Takeovr the week of Miami Music Week. If you were there & experienced what the rest of Takeovr experienced, you'd know that the French men appropriately titled Mustard-Pimp blew the roof off Club Roxy. The electro duo samples the Italian opera [...]
![[Electro] Mustard Pimp – Fist Pump Figaro](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3643074_lg.jpg)
Mustard Pimp has thrown down some absolutely filthy stuff, and this song definitely follows suit. This song in particular, will be featured on Jersey Shore Season 4. It incorporates classic Italian opera with some Jersey flair for all you fist pumping needs. The track has Figaro's Aria from the Barber of Seville, along with some banging beats and figdety synth. It does seems a little funny at first, but the more you listen to it, the more you like it. It's a novelty, but it's also very well produced. Go ahead press play. You'll be back in [...]
