With the last of their stays at Europa, the kids from Famous Friends brought forth a ton of talent to rock the decks and set the kids' hearts on fire, including the first live DJ set from Rude Bear (with the largest headphones we've ever seen) and the US debut of Aussies Bag Raiders , whose set blew our minds out. I know another blog beat me to the punch on "debuting" Flashmen . But hey, I think I can claim that I spotted Flashmen first. I blame this on my inability to party and post simultaneously (I'm learning). Daniel E and our good friend over at Famous Friends, Bradley D, make up the newest dreamwave act on the scene - Flashmen (not Fleshmen, that's a different story). The "Theme" is some spaced out layered synth disco that is like the welcome of a warm spring day as the flowers bloom and the leaves unfold.
