Artwork by Dalila Couto Finally, our top remixes of 2011. Just like the originals, our followers have chosen their favourites. Some of them really surprised me. This is best idea we could possibly have. It's the easiest way to find new music and it's also an interesting way to see what people listen. The second part of this pack is going to be blogged during the day. Listen and share this sweet blog post.... [...]

Artwork by Dalila Couto A couple weeks ago we asked our followers what were their favorite tracks of 2011. We could have done our own top, but we have decided people should tell us, because all blogs are doing their own charts. If there is any track missing, we apologize for it, but i think everyone is included. Anyway, we have also contributed with our favorites. No doubts 2011 was an excellent year. Here we only have originals, during this week we are going to blog as well all the remixes. For sure [...]

Here we are again, and this year I wanted to up the ante to include the top 50 tracks of 2011. So fire up the audio player at the bottom left of the screen and enjoy what I thought to be the best electronic pop tracks of 2011. 50 Rimer London Rimer London 49 Rodriguez Jr. [...]
Hope everyone was able to make their way past the picture above, weird I know, but you'll get used to it. Wanted to finally introduce myself as one of the founders of BigGreenBeats, my name is Adam Boardman and I speak for everyone at BGB when we say we love music and love sharing music with all of you, please stay tuned to BGB, 2012 is going to be fun. I have to keep this short and sweet, its about 10 hours until Avicii hits the stage on Pier 94 in NYC tonight and I need to get my mind right. [...]

Artwork: Yannis Dragasakis La.Ga.Sta. offered its services to many weary travellers once more this year. By “following rivers” they drove “through the green” and found themselves in “English Riviera” only to come back again to our station for another refill. Taking a Friday drive down this year’s memory lane, we think back on our numerous stops including among others: Our after-hours, absolutely wicked dj set in the VIP room of Melt! Festival. We might have missed Cut Copy’s performance but we certainly had a blast. Shout out to T.E.E.D., Azari & III, [...]
I've never been a big fan of looking back, sure it's comforting to reminisce about the good old times... Hey you know everybody's talking about the "good old days" Everybody! The good old days Well, let's talk about the good old days..." - Gladys Knight But in my mind the past does more harm than good. If you think about the past so much you're going to constantly be ignoring what's happening to you right now. The past is good for one thing and one thing only - [...]

Throughout 2011 we have been offering you lots of free music. Here is La.Ga.Sta.'s most downloaded tracks of the year. It's no surprise that Magician's remix of Lykke Li's "I Follow Rivers" is top of the list. A huge remix that you can still hear coming out loud from the car stereos. There are some great tunes in there as well, from Rapture, M83 and Washed Out to Mylo, Discodeine, and Poolside. Not to mention Villa's take on Adele's "Rolling In The Deep" - another exclusive track from La.Ga.Sta. This is yours Top 20 chart. Fill it up (one more [...]

Dubstep remixes were dominated by b.e.a.utiful vocals this year (I don't know about last, wasn't into it then). Or maybe it's just I'm obsessed with female vocals (+ The Weeknd) and dirty, dirtay dubstep. Either way, this style has ruled SNG for the last half of the year and hope it rules for many months into next. * Don't worry, there's a few not-so pretty dubstep remixes in here too. Let us know if we missed any of your favorites from this year But, please, none of that shit dubstep (you know [...]

Flight Facilities latest video, "Foreign Language", has been beautifully captured by French director Dimitri Basil. The video encapsulates the look and feel of a 702s hour long cop... Read the rest on Speakerboxxx.com
Dope video for a dope song, makes sense really. Second single for Sydney's Flight Facilities with French director Dimitri Basil recreating 702s television. The video was shot entirely in Sydney for those of you that are wondering and the way that it was filmed would leave many guessing a variety of locations around the world. This would have to be one of the best Australian music videos I've come across. Oh yeah, I've been busy, hence the lack of posts but I'm getting back into the swing of things.

Click here to view the embedded video. This is no epic dubstep remix of "Crave You," but funkedout electro fits Giselle's voice quite well. The beat is right on pace with hers and brings a whole new flavor to Flight Facilities' classic. Props to Michael Brun, Paris FZ & Simo T for getting together and bringing this to light.
In what can only be described as a mix between Roger Moore-era James Bond, the original Charlie's Angels TV show, Miami Vice, and any other cheesy 70s or 80s movie or TV show you can think of, the official video for Australian DJ duo Flight Facilities ' song "Foreign Language" is awesome through and through. Check out the video, which features vocals by Jess Higgs, after the jump, and be prepared for a plethora of babes bikinis, bell bottom pants, guns, ridiculous action scenes, and the best opening sequence of any video this year.
