Flipsyde's old album, 2005's We The People ( amazon ) ( itunes ), at times sounds like a mashup between spitfire hip hop lyrics and genuine pop music. Sometimes their style drifts more towards the pop spectrum, and other times it honestly sounds like Grits somehow got mixed up with Ben Gibbard.
