Milking it for all it is worth, Florence and the Machine are set to release a four-disc set of their Mercury Prize nominated debut album, Lungs . The deluxe edition, out November 30th, features the original version of the album as well as three extra discs of covers (Beyonce and The Beatles!), live footage, remixes and unreleased demos. On Nov. 30 the band's acclaimed, Mercury Music Prize-nominated debut album is to be reissued as a deluxe four-disc edition. The set will feature the original album in its entirety alongside a host of extras including live tracks, demos, rarities, cover versions and remixes. Also included is a DVD featuring footage from the band's Jul. 7 gig at the Rivoli Ballroom in south London.

There are a lot of great artists and albums that I haven't posted anything about yet. I guess that's why I wasn't really surprised when I realized that I hadn't posted anything about Lungs by Florence and the Machine , one of the best albums of 2009. Lungs was originally released in early July. That's when a friend handed me the album and told me how amazing it was.
